Repeal the 2nd ammendment. The US has the 2nd highest gun death total in the world. Ban ALL semi and fully automatic weapons. Nobody needs them. Minimum age should be 28. Have 1 pistol and 1 gun for hunting. More guns = more deaths and more violence.

You do realize that if you file down the firing pin a certain amount, that you can turn any semi automatic weapon into an automatic? You can repel the 2nd Admin., but you will never get rid of guns in this country. Besides, you can buy one in any City for pennies on the dollar, any day of the year.

Switzerland, UK, Australia, and Canada have enacted gun reforms of some sort. Since then, the firearm death rate in the US was 4 times higher than Switzerland, 5 times higher than Canada, 10 times higher than Australia, and 35 times higher than the UK.

Ok ok...Wikipedia. The trusted internet source. Highest gun related deaths in high income countries. The US is by far the highest rated https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate

If you know someone has guns and is making threats on social media etc., then they should have their weapons taken away for the safety of everyone.

Would this apply to other items that could be used as a weapon, like cars, knives, axes, poison, or matches?

No, because then anyone could lie and make up a reason to get someone's guns taken away from them.

Although the Constitution of the United States does not cite it explicitly, presumption of innocence is widely held to follow from the Fifth, Sixth, and Fourteenth Amendments.

Because you can buy a gun in just about any city for pennies on the dollar if you know where to look. No matter what law you pass, guns for evil will always be available. That is the only "Red Flag" that will always exist.

I personally don't care, but I understand why it is important to so many. I'm embarrassed how bad our 'top tier' athletes are doing. Is this the best we have? I've seen Disney on Ice, couple of those folks surely could have been available.

Anything covered by the mainstream media is not worth paying attention to.
